Rob Cohen, MD MPH, is a board-certified preventive medicine physician who has worked in the National Capital Region since 2011.  He graduated with an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from Harvard College, received his MD from Columbia University, and his Master's of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University.  He completed his residency in Preventive Medicine as an Active Duty Army Officer through Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and the Army Institute of Research, and became board-certified in 2014. He deployed as an Army Physician to Kuwait and Iraq in 2015 as part of Operation Inherent Resolve, which recaptured Western Iraq from ISIS. He then spent the next decade at USAID, first working on maternal and child health, then on COVID-19, Ebola, HIV, malaria, plague, and primary care.  He has been working in primary care since 2015.

Dr. Cohen is an accomplished physician-scientist, with sixteen peer-reviewed publications, who combines cutting-edge biochemistry and medical science with compassionate care.  Dr. Cohen is bilingual (Spanish and English), has many passions, including optimizing the biochemistry of all primary care issues in adults and children, treating and reducing chronic pain, and promotion of health and well-being with thoughtful prevention and wellness. As a scientist, he regularly reads the latest developments in medical science, and evaluates which are ready for implementation with patients, and which have not yet reached that threshold.

Dr. Cohen has a personal story of medical recovery that drives and informs his approach to patient care.  After herniating a disc in his back in 2018, he could barely walk for months, and developed severe and chronic pain.  He learned everything there was to learn about the back, and combined the science from the world's most rigorous biomechanics experts with emerging neuroscience around chronic pain. After a determined three-year recovery, he is now fully recovered and a certified Zumba instructor. Between his own personal story and that of his many patients, he knows what it takes to recover from illness and restore wellness. He wants to help you become pain-free. 

Finally, he scores very highly on the personality trait of conscientiousness, which in practice means he ensures we do whatever we can to help patients restore health and well-being. Dr. Cohen speaks English and Spanish fluently.

Dr. Juan Carlos Munoz is a board-certified internist who has proudly served patients in Fredericksburg and the surrounding communities for more than 15 years. Born and trained in Puerto Rico, Dr. Munoz brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to adult primary care, with special interests in hypertension, cholesterol management, obesity, endocrine disorders such as diabetes and thyroid disease, and men's health.

Outside the office, Dr. Munoz is the proud parent of two children and enjoys spending time outdoors with his family. His approach to medicine is rooted in evidence-based care, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to helping every patient achieve their best possible health.

As part of Falls Church Primary Care Group, Dr. Munoz looks forward to continuing to care for both existing and new patients while delivering the personalized, high-quality care they have come to expect.

Christine’s foundational nursing career began locally, where she earned her Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from Montgomery College in Maryland. Committed to advancing her education, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at the University of Phoenix and then went on to graduate with her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Herzing University.

Prior to transitioning into family practice, Christine spent more than 14 years as a dedicated bedside nurse in the Emergency Room. While she loved the fast-paced nature of emergency medicine, witnessing critical situations daily inspired her to pivot toward primary care. She wanted to focus heavily on preventative medicine, partnering with individuals early on to help those in her community live healthy, full lives. This extensive background fuels her deep interest in women’s health and patient advocacy, ensuring every individual feels heard, supported, and empowered in their health choices.

A lifelong athlete, Christine rowed competitively during both high school and college. In her free time, she stays active by hiking and practicing yoga. She is also an avid sports fan who loves watching hockey and tennis alongside her family and friends. Christine is thrilled to bring her diverse clinical experience and passion for community wellness to our healthcare family!
